Account and data deletion

Last updated: 8 September 2026. Applies to the EatzyGo customer app (com.eatzygo.customer), the EatzyGo Rider app (com.eatzygo.rider) and the EatzyGo Store app (com.eatzygo.store), published by Kalam Enterprises.

You can ask us to delete your EatzyGo account and the personal data linked to it at any time. Customers can do this in the app or by email. Delivery partners and store partners do it by email, because EatzyGo creates those accounts during onboarding. This page explains how to ask, what happens straight away, what we delete, what we must keep and why, and how long it takes.

You do not need the app installed, and you do not need to sign in anywhere, to request deletion. An email is enough (see option 2). Requesting deletion is free.

Option 1: delete your account in the customer app

  1. Open the EatzyGo app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile, then Account, then Delete my Account.
  3. Read the confirmation notice and confirm.

What happens immediately: your account is deactivated and you are signed out on that device. The account can no longer be signed into. Your data is not erased at that moment. We then delete or anonymise it within 30 days, as described below, and email you when that is done.

If you have an order in progress or an unpaid cash on delivery amount, please wait until it is delivered or settled before deleting your account, so the order can be completed and any refund paid.

Option 2: request deletion by email

Use this route if you are a delivery partner or store partner, if you have uninstalled the app, if you cannot sign in, or if you simply prefer email. Send a request to:

Email: contact@eatzygo.in
Subject: Account deletion request
Include: the email address and phone number registered to your account, and which app you use (EatzyGo, EatzyGo Rider or EatzyGo Store).

We reply to confirm we have received your request. To stop someone else deleting your account, we first check that the request really comes from you, usually by replying to the email address registered to the account. We ask only for what is needed to identify the account; we never ask for your password or payment details. If we cannot verify the request we tell you why and how to try again, and we delete nothing in the meantime. Once verified, we deactivate the account and complete deletion within 30 days of your request, then email you a confirmation.

Delivery partners and store partners: before we close a partner account we settle any pending payout and confirm the position under your partner agreement. That happens within the same 30 days.

What we delete

Within 30 days of your request we delete, or anonymise so it can no longer be linked to you:

Deletion covers the copies held by the providers who process data for us (our authentication, database, file storage, push notification and crash-reporting providers). Copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited time and are removed when those backups are rotated.

What we keep, and why

Some records are exempt from deletion because Indian law requires us to keep them:

Retained records are access-restricted, used only for the purpose that requires them, and never used for marketing.
